Specifications of Pure Tank Polyethylene Tanks:
• The tank is made from polyethylene material suitable for storing drinking water.
• The tank consists of two layers: white on the inside and black on the outside.
• It is also available in three layers: white on the inside, black in the middle, and white on the outside.
• This design ensures water purity, resists harmful ultraviolet rays, and reduces heat absorption from the sun.
• It is equipped with four upper ركب at the top of the tank, which are also used for feed and overflow openings.
• Fitted with brass fittings for easy installation.
• The tank is surrounded by circular external belts to reduce the water pressure on the tank walls, thereby increasing the tank’s lifespan.
• The tank is equipped with four upper ركب at the top, which help stabilize the tank from above and are also used for feed and overflow openings.
• How to Fix the Tank
• 1: The tank must be fixed on a perfectly level base, ensuring there are no gaps underneath the tank.
• 2: The tank’s foundation must be made of concrete, steel beams, or a solid base surface. These foundations must be completely level, especially when installing steel beams. In such cases, a metal sheet no less than 5 mm thick must be laid over the beams.
• How to Install the Tank
• The tank openings should be made using a drill equipped with multi-size bits designed for tank drilling.
• A galvanized iron, galvanized steel, stainless steel, or C.V. nipple (male fitting) must be installed. The nipple should include 2 locking nuts, 2 washers, and 2 gaskets, and it must be installed both from inside and outside the tank.
• It is advised not to make openings at the bottom of the tank, as this negatively affects the tank’s lifespan. There are designated areas on the tank body for making such openings.

How to Sterilize a Tank
• Empty the tank of water, leaving 10 to 15 cm of water in the tank.
• Dissolve 100 grams of sterilizing powder (chloroform) in a bucket half filled with water and stir well until dissolved.
• Close the tank valve to prevent water containing a high percentage of chlorine from seeping through the pipes, as its use is hazardous to public health.
• Add the chlorinated water to the tank water and wash the walls and ceiling of the tank with water using straw or plastic brushes. Wire brushes are prohibited, as they may scratch the tank walls.
• Drain the wash water through the valve at the bottom of the tank (the wash hole).
• Rinse the tank with water several times to remove traces of chlorine, and flush each time through the wash hole.
• Refill the tank with water and leave it in the tank for two hours before opening the valve leading to the apartments to ensure that no traces of chlorine remain in the water before use.
• For human consumption, this process should be repeated at least every three months.
